Djembe Lessons and Workshops
Abi has over 20 years of experience teaching percussion in workshop contexts, as well as part of ongoing music lessons in schools - enriching the curriculum. Abi has studied West African percussion in Europe as well as with Master Drummers during her studies in The Gambia and Ghana.

Abi has excellent subject knowledge, specialising in wider opportunities African drumming, SEN music and Early Years Music Education. Abi's expertise has seen her leading CPD training sessions and workshops throughout the UK, and her work has been rated
as outstanding by Tower Hamlets Music Service. Abi loves working with people of all ages and abilities, has a gentle and warm teaching style and always works towards building positive rapport.
